About the Professionals
Deloris Duff, Principal,
Document Developers - Dee Duff, CPRW, JCTC, CEIP embarked on
a new career as a résumé writer
after retiring from 25 years at Eli Lilly & Company and 8-year
employee of the federal government.
In March 2009,
Duff celebrated 15 years as an active member of the careers industry,
coached and written job search
documents
for hundreds of clients to reap the rewards of new career aspirations.
She is an active member of Professional Association of Résumé Writers/Career
Coaches (PARW/CC), Career Management Alliance (The Alliance) (formerly
Career Masters Institute), and Career Directors International (CDI),
three of the major national professional careers organizations.
For Duff’s
corporate years at Lilly, she often represented the company for
various community relations
activities, recruited
and coordinated hundreds of company employees for multiple company-sponsored
volunteer programs. During another assignment, she served as the
primary contact individual for all consumer inquiries to the company.
Throughout her career and multiple assignments, she learned advanced
desktop publishing and graphics that sharpened her eye for document
design and layout. Her last assignment, prior to retirement, was
in international marketing as a meeting planner. She accepted early
retirement in 1993.
Doug
Gibbens,
Executive Director, Indiana Committee, Employer Support of National
Guard and Reserve – Doug works
with Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department
of Defense
organization that seeks to promote a culture in which all American
Employers support and value the military service of their employees,
and became Executive Director in 2007. Doug concentrates his efforts
on behalf of service men and women of all branches of our armed
forces.
The nation's Reserve components (referring to the total of all
National Guard members and Reserve forces from all branches of
the military) comprise approximately 48 percent of our total available
military manpower. The current National Defense Strategy indicates
that the National Guard and Reserve will be full partners in the
fully integrated Total Force.
ESGR was established in 1972 to gain and maintain employer support
for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support,
increasing awareness of the law and resolving conflict through
mediation. Doug previously served as a Program Support Specialist
for ESGR.

Heather Lermont-Pape, Founder, The Lermont Group - Heather founded
The Lermont Group, with 25 years experience in executive coaching,
corporate training, financial planning, leadership and development.
In recent years, she has transitioned to being a full-time, non-financial
retirement coach because she has seen the growing need for people
to plan for retirement, not just financially but in the areas of
second careers, family relationships, time management, status,
socialization, location, leisure, travel — every aspect of
retirement. She realizes the importance of helping people assemble
the framework, gathering the different pieces of their ‘retirement
puzzle’ into a picture that they will be excited to make
a reality.
Heather earned her Retirement Coaching Certification through Retirement
Options Coaching Program and is a graduate of Coach U’s Coaching
Core Essential and Coaching Clinic Facilitation Programs. Along
with the other associates in The Lermont Group, Heather enjoys
the challenge of helping people crystallize their view of retirement.
Retirement is just a beginning. And, with this new beginning, it
is a time to refocus each day on personal growth, opportunities,
and expanded horizons to conquer.
