"HR
Earning A Seat At The Leadership Table”
Many
HR Leaders of small to mid-sized companies (defined as 50 to
5,000 EE’s) just assume that HR can never
get out of the tactical day to day administrative duties and
become a strategic partner in the business. Streamlining efficiencies
(one of the essential keys to getting in front of the business)
is often discussed but rarely implemented. Too often these same
leaders and companies assume that only larger corporations can
afford solutions, and dedicate the time to do so. HR is the only
department that sees, touches, and permeates all parts of the
organization regardless of organization size. As HR Leaders you
can’t afford not to be at the Leadership Table!
Interactive discussion on how HR Leaders and Administrators
can improve their ability to get out if front of the business,
become a strategic partner in the business and earn and maintain
a seat at the Leadership Table.
Learning Objectives: 1.
Assess HR’s position within the company.
2. Identify barriers/obstacles preventing HR Leadership from
becoming a strategic partner.
3. Discuss solutions to get out of the tactical day today.
4. Become a pro-active leader rather than a re-active doer.
